India's anti-drug agency has dropped charges against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son in a drugs case. Aryan Khan, 24, was arrested in October 2021 for allegedly doing recreational drugs at a party. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had charged him under laws "related to possession, consumption and sale of illegal substances."

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son has been granted bail 26 days after he was arrested for allegedly doing recreational drugs at a party. Aryan Khan, 23, was taken off a cruise ship that was on its way from Mumbai city to the state of Goa on 2 October.

Aryan Khan, the eldest son of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, was arrested on Sunday afternoon for alleged possession and consumption of illegal drugs. A Mumbai magistrate on Sunday ordered three people, including Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, to be taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till October 4.

Aryan Khan was arrested on Saturday night after police raided a ship off Mumbai and found narcotics, local media said.
